Scarf Swag Curtain!

I am not so good in Home Decorations, but I tried to beautify our home and add colors in our window. As you can see , our window is wide open covered with white blinds. So, I think of decorating it to add beauty in our window. I find it so bare and no art at all. I wanted it to look different and look classy, but I don`t know how to start. Last Sunday, we went to JCPenney and look for a sale curtains, but the swag curtains that I want are too expensive if I bought all the materials I needed. I just want something cheaper but I can use it in window decorations. I got this Scarf curtain , this was sale 50% off, we just paid almost 30$ plus tax by that swag curtain, I didn`t bought the panel to blend the scarf because our window has venetian blind and it will be more costly if I did that. I didn`t use curtain rods too,there were no place to put the curtain rods. What I did was I just divide the scarf into two and tie it in the center of the venetian blind, it was inside the cover so it will not be seen that I just tie it, lastly I did the same thing in the both end of the blinds. I just arranged the scarf and It turned out good without over spending materials. We can find more cheaper materials for home decorations if we will just explore some places, they are almost bargaining their products especially if it`s clearance sale.
