Staying at home every day is really boring. So I think of something that will ease my boredom. Way back then in the Phils. I had my trainings in dressmaking, so I come to think of why not try using this skills ?I told my husband about this when I was still in the Phils. that it would possibly become one of my hobbies if I had sewing machine. So, he then decided after marriage he will buy me a sewing machine. Here it is, my new Emerald 118; Husqvarna Sewing machine from Joann`s Store. We were amazed when the sales clerk tested sewing with a piece of denim cloth folded thrice and sew it right in front of us,then after she showed me couple of stitches I tried doing the same thing, it was really good.We ended buying it because there were 2 remaining machine with that same model. A day I have that sewing machine I was so eager to do my projects. When we bought that the lady gave me 4 pieces of square shape sky blue cloth to do some practice for sewing. Since I have few knowledge years ago from sewing I ended making that cloth as "Apron", and I don`t have problems using my new viking sewing machine , it runs smoothly while I am sewing. Wow ! my project turned out good. I can`t believe that I can still able to sew.
I was able to use that sewing machine in replacing the zipper of my husband`s jacket and I also altered some of my denim pants and it all turned good. I don`t have complains using that machine.
I would love to learn some techniques in sewing since I have that machine..It`s fun sewing, when I see my finish products I feel something good in me that I was able to do it . You guys can do it also! Try sewing and be fruitful!
