My Visa Interview Experience!

What a wonderful day! I woke up around 3:30am, prepare myself for this BIG DAY:My Visa Interview. Left from my place around 5am and arrived at USEM around 6am. I thought I was still early but when I arrived there were a lot of people waiting for the gate to be open. We got in around 6:30 am, guard checks my ID (I presented my SSS ID) and showed him my interview appointment and was instructed to have a seat in the famous blue chairs. After awhile lady staff from USEM checks our DS forms (I presented my 2 DS 157-Validated at the back from BDO, 2 DS 156 with 2 pieces picture glued on it, and 1DS 156K). Then we were called to ticket booth , handed down my DS forms and gave us our corresponding numbers (Mine was 7002).Went back to our chairs and wait again for our names to be called for finger scanning.

After finger scanning, lady staff told us to be attentive and wait for our names to be called for Pre-screener! Processing is a little bit fast now compare to the waiting time in St.Luke.

When I was called for pre-screen ( I was called in window 15) the lady pre-screener took my affidavit of support and supporting evidences, NBI, Birth certificate. For the proofs of on-going relationship she got my pictures( I made a scrap book for that) , money remittances, and cards. Gosh! I had a bulk of emails and chat logs they don`t even asks for it.

Pre- screener asks me the following questions:

What is my petitioner`s name?
What does he do for a living?
Where did we meet?How?
How old is he?
What is my age?
Where he lives?

For My Final Interview I was called in Cubicle /window44. Feeling nervous and uneasy. But when I enter in the room I was saw a lady consul ( a charming lady) she is look alike- princess Diana. She greeted me good morning, and how are you? I get greet her back and I say I am fine thank you. When she was talking she noticed that her mic is in full volume, so she fixed it with proper volume and keep on asking me , if the mic is okay, is it too loud? something like that! Then she questioned me following:

What is my petitioner`s name?
What does he do for a living?
When and how we meet?
Where he lives?
When he visited me?
when he proposed to me?
What I loved with my fiance?
Does he has prior marriage?
Does he have kids?

Then after all those questions she check all my papers and told me," There is no problem with your papers, your visa now has been approved! ". Wow....I feel relief hearing those words, then she instructed me to wait for my name to be called in Window 37. I got there the famous" pink slip", before he gave my pink slip,,,, he keep on teasing me, he keep on glancing our cards and keep murmuring ,,,dear honey...blah...blah!.. I just laugh at him and I did not even care about him even he is teasing me.I am so happy got my pink slip he then return my scrap book album and instructed me to pay for delbros visa delivery.

Here is my pink slip:
I was out from USEM around 10:30 am: January 16,2009
